Dear Veterinary Medicinal Products Stakeholders,
as per greek Law 1316/1983, article 57 of the Regulation (EU) 2019/6, the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/578 and the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/209, regarding the use and sales data of the Veterinary Antimicrobials, the submission of veterinary medicinal products’ sales data at EOF’s Veterinary Medicinal Products Sales Submission System and at Union Data Base is mandatory.
The comparison of the reference year 2023 sales data of the two Platforms (EOF’s Veterinary Medicinal Products Sales Submission System and Union Data Base), indicated major inconsistencies/discrepancies between datasets concerning sales of veterinary medicinal products (VMPs). As a consequence, regarding the submission of accurate and consistent sales data of VMPs, you are urged to take the following actions:
a) reevaluate sales data submitted at EOF’s Veterinary Medicinal Products Sales Submission System for Q1, Q2, Q3 of the year 2024, and in case of inconsistencies/omissions, correct them within Q4 submission (by 20/01/2025), in order the sum of the data sales submissions of Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 correspond to the total volume of sales data for the year 2024.
b) take all necessary actions to ensure the sales data submitted at Union Data Base are accurate and consistent, in harmonisation with the sales data submitted at EOF’s Veterinary Medicinal Products Sales Submission System.
