TURBO 69 (DROPS)
(SILDENAFIL)
The National Medicines Organization (EOF) informs the consumer public that, according to laboratory findings from official European control laboratories, the product TURBO 69 DROPS (Cont. 1) contains the unlabeled pharmaceutical active substance sildenafil). The product is being illegally distributed online, mainly via social networking sites (Facebook), and is poorly labeled. The possible sender on the label is listed as OZKOZ Pharmaceuticals with a registered address in Sarstedt, Germany, however, authorities found that this company cannot be located at this specific address.
Sildenafil is the active ingredient in approved prescription medications intended to treat erectile dysfunction. Taking it without medical supervision can cause serious side effects, particularly to the cardiovascular system.
Consumers are asked to immediately stop taking this product if they already have it in their possession and to immediately inform the Hellenic Food and Drug Administration.
It is recalled that the purchase of products under the jurisdiction of EOF from unauthorized sources, such as the internet and social media, puts the consumer's health at direct risk.
