The Hellenic Veterinary Medicines Authority announces that, according to information from the German Competent Authority, the following batches of the veterinary medicinal product are being recalled: Ketamine 100mg/ml by CP-Pharma GmbH Germany, due to contamination with foreign bodies.
Ketamine 100mg/ml Lot:14A034,14D015,14G043,15A281,15C028,15H242,15I022,16B256,16B264,16B271,16D256,16F243,16G052.
The product does not have a marketing authorization in our country, but according to the above information, it may have been imported and marketed in our country from illegal sources.
The attention of those involved in the distribution of veterinary medicines and veterinarians is drawn to the fact that, in the event that they come into possession of a product with the above characteristics, they should not use it and inform directly to the EOF.
It is noted that the purchase of non-approved products under the jurisdiction of the Hellenic Food and Drug Administration (EOF) from illegal sources may endanger Public Health.
