The mission of EOF is to protect Public Health in relation to traffic in Greece:
Within the framework of this mission, EOF, with complete transparency and in cooperation with the European Union:
Evaluates and approves new safe and effective products
It monitors the quality, safety and efficacy of products during their circulation in the country.
It controls the production, clinical studies and circulation of products on the Greek market in order to comply with the rules of good production, laboratory and clinical practice and to apply the legislation regarding their distribution, distribution, marketing and advertising.
It develops and promotes medical and pharmaceutical research.
It informs health scientists, competent bodies and the public with objective and useful information regarding pharmaceutical products (for human and veterinary use) and other products with the aim of their rational use and the objective assessment of its pharmacoeconomic dimension.
