PARTICIPATION OF EOF INN 88η THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

With the aim of directly approaching the citizen, informing him about the Organization's activities and assuring him that it takes care of the protection and promotion of his health on a daily basis, the National Medicines Organization participated for the first time in the Thessaloniki International Fair, hosted at Pavilion 14 of the Ministry of Health.
By subject "EOF at the service of the citizen" A Round Table was held, coordinated by the President of the Board of Directors of EOF, Mr. Evangelos Manolopoulos, Professor of Pharmacology at the Medical Department of Democritus University of Thrace. In the presence of the Secretary General of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Aris Angelis, the activities of EOF were presented by the Organization's Executives.
Throughout the duration of the Exhibition, citizens were continuously informed about the yellow and white cards concerning pharmacovigilance and reporting of incidents of Medical Devices respectively, as well as the proper use of antibiotics, by distributing informational material. Especially for health professionals, the useful manual "The approach and treatment of infections in primary care" was distributed
Direct contact and interaction with visitors essentially constituted an opportunity to raise their awareness regarding their active participation and contribution to the Organization's work, as the collection of information through the cards contributes greatly to the monitoring and evaluation of drug safety.
