The Department of Veterinary Drug Evaluation, in collaboration with the Organization and Informatics Directorate of EOF, and the external partner, under the chairmanship of the First Vice President of EOF Malemis Ioannis, organized on July 11, 2018 a meeting at the Kavadia Events Hall for Companies importing, manufacturing and marketing veterinary pharmaceutical products.
The meeting was held in order for the Companies to be informed about the current procedures and planned actions of the Hellenic Olympic Committee that relate to their responsibilities.
Specifically, the topics presented and discussed were:
• Veterinary drug license renewals
• Registrations and renewals of veterinary vaccine licenses
• Sales listings on the EOF website
Reference was made to the European Union's ESVAC (European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption) system and the consumption data of antimicrobial substances in the Member States and Greece for 2015 were presented (//www.ema.europa.eu/ema/index.jsp?curl=pages/news_and_events/news/2017/10/news_detail_002827.jsp&mid=WC0b01ac058004d5c1)
Finally, the external collaborator made a presentation on the new SPOR System (Substance, Product, Organisation and Referential data) of the European Medicines Agency in which EOF participates.
